The proposed ZDSP will have a duration of five years and six months (starting July 2022 and
ending June 2028) and is estimated to have a resource envelope of US$ 698 million, of which US$ 200
million will be funded from the IDA credit through the PFOrR and $10 million through the IPF based
elements. Based on the existing fiscal framework for the Local Authorities (LAs), the expenditure
framework for the Program will comprise of the following:
Project – Market Shelter Kazungula Central
Zambia Devolution Project – Market Shelter.
This project is located on the boarder area of Kazungula central it is an economic project that will help the small business holder for Kazungula central more especially tomato and vegetables traders to earn a living and support there family’s and contribute to national development
